What to know about the fit before you order.

Width

Anatomic shoes suit narrow to medium feet and fit almost all instep heights. Good to know: barefoot shoes always leave far more room than conventional shoes, and your toes naturally spread out as you wear them.

Size

Rely on the size chart in cm on the product page; we recommend adding 0.5 to 1.2 cm for comfort. Please note, the brand runs small: check the chart carefully.

Sole

6 mm thermoplastic rubber sole on the Starter, 5 mm polyurethane sole on the Natural, zero drop. Removable textile insole with no arch support.

Anatomic at a glance

Anatomic is a Czech brand based in Kopřivnice. The idea was born in 2016 and the brand launched in spring 2018 with one goal: shoes that respect the natural movement and anatomy of the foot, at a price affordable for everyone.

It favours healthy materials and ethical, traceable production: the vast majority of materials and manufacturing are in the European Union.

How do I choose my Anatomic size?

Measure both feet from heel to longest toe, then compare the longer one with the size chart in cm on the product page. We recommend adding 0.5 to 1.2 cm for comfort. The brand runs small: check the chart carefully before choosing.

What is the difference between Starter and Natural?

The Starter has a 6 mm thermoplastic rubber sole with a marked tread. The Natural has a thinner, lighter 5 mm polyurethane sole. The Natural range also includes the All-Year leather ankle boots.

Can I machine-wash them?

The Starter Mesh and canvas Starter, yes: gentle programme, up to 30 °C, insole removed. The Natural Canvas and Water Repellent are hand-washed at 30 °C. The leather boots are wiped with a damp cloth. Dry away from sun and radiators.

Are the Water Repellent models waterproof?

They are water-repellent: the canvas has a coating that repels water. A colourless waterproofing spray improves their resistance to water and dirt.

Are Anatomic shoes vegan?

The Starter and Natural Canvas sneakers, yes. The Natural All-Year ankle boots are leather.

Where are Anatomic shoes made?
