Choosing your Brambas

What to know about the fit before you order.

Width

Brambas suit medium to wide feet, with a foot-shaped toe box. Good to know: barefoot shoes always leave far more room than conventional shoes, and your toes naturally spread out as you wear them.

Size

Rely on the size chart in cm on the product page; we recommend adding 0.5 to 1.2 cm for comfort.

Sole

NakedFeel® sole only 4 mm thick, zero drop: it looks thicker because of its hollow wraparound edge, but it stays thin and flexible. 30% recycled and 70% bio-based rubber, fully recyclable. A removable 4 mm gel insole is included for a gentle start: take it out when the time is right.

Which model?

Calabria: the vintage sneaker in vegan suede and corn leather, for all year round. Creta: the summer version, in highly breathable recycled knit, about 240 g per shoe.

The size chart in cm is on every product page.

Brambas at a glance

In Castellón, on the Mediterranean coast, two brothers-in-law with complementary passions, an art teacher in love with fashion and an architect dedicated to quality and sustainability, founded Brambas with one idea: the barefoot sneaker you actually want to wear around town.

The shoes are handmade by partner factories in Spain and Portugal equipped with solar panels. Every material is plant-based, recycled or recyclable: vegan suede, corn leather, recycled PET lining, organic cotton laces. The brand works on pre-orders so that it only produces what is sold.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose my Brambas size?

Measure your foot from heel to longest toe, then compare it with the size chart in cm on the product page. We recommend adding 0.5 to 1.2 cm for comfort: closer to 0.5 cm if you like a snug fit, closer to 1.2 cm if you like room for your toes or wear thick socks.

What is the gel insole for?

It adds a little cushioning for your first weeks in barefoot shoes. When you feel comfortable, take it out to fully enjoy the 4 mm sole.

Calabria or Creta: which one should I choose?

The Calabria, in vegan suede and corn leather, can be worn all year round. The Creta, in recycled knit, is lighter and very breathable: it is the sneaker for warmer days.

Are Brambas really 100% vegan?

Yes. No animal-derived materials: vegan suede, corn leather, recycled PET lining, organic cotton laces and a recycled, bio-based rubber sole.

How do I care for my Brambas?

A damp cloth is usually enough. If they are very dirty, wash them by hand in lukewarm water with mild soap. Avoid the washing machine and drying in direct sunlight.

The sole looks thick: is it really barefoot?

Yes. The NakedFeel® sole is only 4 mm thick: the thickness you see comes from its hollow edge, which wraps around the foot without lifting it off the ground.
