Knitido at a glance

In Japan, tabi socks with a separate big toe were well known, but not five-toe socks for everyday wear. Knitido's founder discovered them in 1974 thanks to a pair from Spain, and made them the speciality of his company, founded in 1981.

Even today, all Knitido toe socks are knitted in the brand's own factory in Wakayama Prefecture, on seamless machines, with each toe finished by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose my size?

The socks come in S (35-38), M (39-42) and L (43-46). Between two sizes, choose the larger one so your toes are comfortable.

Are toe socks hard to put on?

It takes a little getting used to: pull the sock up to the forefoot, place each toe in its compartment, then pull it up. After a few days it becomes natural.

Can I wear them with barefoot shoes?

Yes, they are the perfect match: your toes stay free to spread in the shoe.

Which models for yoga or Pilates?

The Trailer Garden and SORA+, which have a non-slip coating under the sole.

What is the difference between Midi, Sneakers and no-show?

It is the height: no-show socks (5.5 cm) disappear in low sneakers, Sneakers stop at ankle level and Midi (12 cm) go just above. The cotton no-show socks do not separate the toes.

How do I wash them?

In the machine, up to 60 °C for most cotton models, without tumble drying or ironing. Check your model's product page.
