What is a barefoot shoe?

A barefoot (or minimalist) shoe has three features: a wide toe box that leaves room for your toes, a thin, flexible sole, and a flat heel with no height difference between the front and the back (“zero drop”). Its aim is to come as close as possible to walking barefoot, our natural way of walking: it is the way the human foot and body took shape over the course of evolution. All the shoes sold on Bareshoes.fr meet these criteria.

How do I choose my size?

Measure your feet in centimetres (method in our size guide), then compare with the size chart on the product page, which gives the measurements in centimetres for each model. Sizes vary a lot from one brand to another: don’t rely on your usual size alone. If in doubt, write to us from our contact page (subject “Size advice”).

My size is no longer available, what can I do?

It may be restocked. Sign up for the back-in-stock alert on the product page: you will receive an e-mail as soon as it is back.

How quickly is my order dispatched?

Your order is prepared and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours after payment is confirmed, excluding weekends, holidays and public holidays, and subject to stock. Some models take longer: in that case, it is clearly shown on the product page. You receive an e-mail with the tracking number as soon as it is dispatched.

What are the delivery options and times?

We deliver to a pick-up point or locker with Mondial Relay, and to your home with Colissimo, in France, Switzerland, Germany and throughout Europe. Average delivery times are 2 to 5 days in mainland France and 3 to 8 days internationally.

Is delivery free?

In France, delivery is free from €99. For other countries, shipping costs are shown in your basket before payment.

Can I return an item?

Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return an item. We do not offer exchanges: for another size, return the item and place a new order. Print the return form (available in your customer account, in the order details), slip it into the well-packed parcel and send it with the service of your choice: Mondial Relay is often the cheapest. All the conditions are set out in our terms and conditions of sale.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank card, PayPal, Klarna and bank transfer, all with secure payment.
